Sporting Start is a local company who provide high quality sports coaches into primary schools to support them in providing  a range of curriculum based physical activities.

Services include the following:

• Providing qualified sports coaches to work with teachers to provide them with the skills and knowledge to teach fun and engaging sessions for their pupils.
• We have a full scheme of work and detailed planning for staff to be able to teach high quality PE.
• This year we have introduced new sports, including Boxercise and Lacrosse.  We can even arrange for Archery and Climbing to be brought to you on site (should your site be suitable and meet safety requirements)
• Provide links to clubs.
• Support and involve the least active children by running or extending school sports clubs and Change4Life clubs
• We have increased the competition calendar to provide more high level competitions for our schools.

Our motto is ‘inspiring children to achieve’ and we pride ourselves in ensuring every child has a positive experience within primary school sport lessons, extra curricular clubs and in competition.

All of our coaches are fully qualified (including child protection and first aid training) and undergo regular CPD training to ensure they have an up to date knowledge of the Physical Education Curriculum.
